Rev. Seth Haakenson
Pastor Haakenson was born in Youngstown, OH but spent the majority of his childhood on the Mexican border in Douglas, Arizona. He attended public high school; graduated from Martin Lutheran College in 2000 and Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary in 2004. His ministry experience prior to receiving his call to Milwaukee included time in Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic. Since fall of 2005 he has served as Pastor for Hispanic Ministry at Risen Savior. He is married to Monica and has two daughters: Anna and Natalia. When not engaged in ministry, Pastor Haakenson enjoys traveling, reading and the outdoors.
